As part of the ongoing development of the North Bay Symphony and in keeping with our mission to "enrich, education and entertain", the North Bay Symphony Society started a school for string musicians in September 2006.   The artistic component of the school will be directed by Thomas Jones, Music Director of the NBSO.  The administration of the school will be the Society's responsibility.

Jordan Wyshniowsky is our music teacher and he also plays in our orchestra.  The string school has multiple benefits – it is a source of new string players for the orchestra, and provides a more attractive package when we are trying to get string professionals to move to the area.  To book lessons, call Jordan at (705)-498-7744 or email
